We’re all aware of the appalling state of our rivers and waterways.

As part of a national campaign, Brimley WI will be in Mill Marsh Park on Saturday the 14th of September from 10.30 – 12.00 to raise awareness of the state of our rivers. The action is in support of the Clean Rivers Campaign and aims to demonstrate to the community and politicians that we need an urgent end to pollution of our rivers. We’ll have information and leaflets to share.

It would be great if lots of you could join us.

Nationally, River Action U.K.  (https://riveractionuk.com/) will be undertaking a March for Clean Water and rally in London on 26th October to petition the government to take the issue of clean water seriously and legislate to make it a reality.

Why not come along?
